Shrek jr.
12th - 14th july 2024

Once upon a time...
...in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek.  One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions.

When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way!

GETTING HERE
The Kings Theatre has a small car park with 2 disabled parking spaces. There is also a public car park opposite in Grosvenor’s Yard. Both car parks can fill up quickly, so please ensure you allow plenty of time to park and get to theatre and be seated before the performance begins.

The theatre is a 7 minute walk from the bus station, and a 12 minute walk from the train station.

Auditorium doors are closed at the advertised start time and Nomads reserves the right to operate a no admittance policy for late-comers to ensure the enjoyment of our seated patrons. Thank you.

We do not generally offer refunds unless a show is cancelled by us or there are extreme circumstances.

Ticket prices for concerts and other small productions (including any non-Nomads productions) may vary.

When a show sells out, we can take your details and contact you should tickets become available. This will be on a first come, first served basis.

We use hazers and other smoke effects which are non toxic and perfectly safe to use for both our cast and patrons. Musicals use the theatre's sound system which includes microphones and amplified music, we therefore recommend that you consider carefully before purchasing a ticket for babies or very young children, both for their own enjoyment and that of our other patrons.
