Wind in the Willows – 2019 Summer School


Stiles & Drewe’s The Wind in the Willows sees Mr. Toad come to life in a brand new West End musical, which appeared at the London Palladium last Summer.  With a book by Oscar-winning screenwriter and “Downton Abbey” creator Julian Fellowes and Olivier Award-winning composers and lyricists George Stiles and Anthony Drewe audiences will be in for a real treat with this classic tale.

This riotous comedy follows the impulsive Mr. Toad whose insatiable need for speed lands him in serious trouble. With his beloved home under threat for the notorious Chief Weasel and his gang of sinister Wild Wooders, Toad must attempt a daring escape leading to a series of misadventures and a heroic battle to recapture Toad Hall. Packed full of brilliant characters, fantastic songs and choreography, this show is one you won’t want to miss being part of!

This fantastic musical will be performed at the Kings Theatre from Tuesday 6th – Saturday 10th August 2019.  Rehearsals will be a weeks worth of full day intensive from Sunday 28th July to Sunday 4th August, 10am to 9pm.
