Directed by Sarah Smith and John Mitchell with Jess Clifford as Choreographer and Joseph Hall as Musical Director. The show opens with the OAP Preview on Friday 10th May 2019 and opening night on Monday 13th May, then a show every evening plus a matinee at 4pm on Saturday the 18th May.

Rehearsal nights will be Mondays and Wednesdays (7.30pm-up to 9.30/10pm) and Sundays (10am-4pm). Not everyone will be required at all 3 rehearsals, nor all day for every Sunday but there is alot to organise so you will need to be prepared to keep these days free as much as possible, for all roles including the chorus. Please also ensure that you are available for the week before the show for all rehearsals especially the dress rehearsals.

Auditions will take place on Sunday 8th February at 10am until 2pm. Everyone will need to sing a song (solo) of their own choice or use one of the songs listed below.  It must be at least 30 seconds long (but no longer than a minute), possibly do some dance, do a full dance audition if wanting to be in the dance team/certain roles and if auditioning for a principle role read some lines.

Those auditioning for a principle role need to be aware that some preparation is required as we won’t be doing the auditions in the normal workshop style.  You will be expected to perform script and songs as per the character you are auditioning for.  Below are sections of the script we will be using for the audition, whilst we do not expect you to learn them and be word perfect (unless of course you want to) we are providing these so you can work on your characterisation.  We are expecting you to perform one of the songs listed pertinent to your character and this is best done without having to carry the words/sheet music.  You will be doing this on the stage so have the freedom to add movements, actions and whatever you feel you need to do to bring your character to life!

The full list of the script and songs we will be using when auditioning principle roles is listed below.  Simply click on the link of the character you want and download.  If you have any issues or queries please contact
